How to Book an Appointment

If you'd like to book an appointment with me or have any questions, you can easily reach out to me in two ways:

Contact Form on My Website: Fill out the form and include all the important details about your tattoo idea, like style, size, and placement. This way, I can already get a good sense of your vision.

Direct Message on Instagram: If you prefer, just send me a DM. It's helpful if you include a few details about your tattoo idea here, too, so we can get started right away.

To help me plan your appointment perfectly, it would be great if you could provide the following information in your inquiry:

  • Design/Motif Idea: Describe what you're envisioning as precisely as possible. Please send me at least three reference images of tattoos that reflect the look you’re aiming for.

  • Size and Placement: Where would you like the tattoo, and approximately how large should it be? This helps me better estimate the time and number of sessions needed.

  • Style: What style do you prefer? (e.g., Neo-Nordic, Historical Styles, Celtic). Reference images here are also very useful for me to understand your taste.

  • Preferred Dates and Times: Are there specific days or times that work particularly well or poorly for you? This helps me plan the appointment more effectively.

  • Budget (Optional): If you have a budget, feel free to let me know, so we can plan the design accordingly.

With this information, I can ensure your appointment is perfectly tailored to your wishes and that everything runs smoothly!

I'll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss details and schedule an appointment!

Where is the studio?

The studio is located in beautiful Upper Swabia, where the Allgäu region begins—perfect for a trip to the Alps!

Important: The studio is in a very rural area, near Memmingen, and can be challenging to reach by public transport. I highly recommend arriving by car!

You’ll receive the exact address and parking details well in advance of your appointment.

Design

Can I see the design in advance?

No, and there is a good reason for that!

I firmly believe that the best tattoos are created through close collaboration between us. The best way to do this is to meet in person and for me to draw directly on your skin. This way you can give immediate feedback and we can adjust everything straight away. It is precisely this direct communication that ensures that the tattoo is a perfect fit for you in the end.

Your tattoo is a true team effort - without your ideas and feedback it wouldn't exist. That's why I will never reuse a design or pass it on to anyone else.

How the Design Process Works

As soon as you come to the studio, we sit down together and go through all the ideas you sent me beforehand. I usually already have a clear idea and then ask you a few questions to find out exactly what you have in mind.

Before your appointment, I ask you to send me at least 3 pictures of tattoos you like and 3 that you don't like. This will give me a better feel for what you like and what you don't. You can of course send me as many pictures as you like - as long as there are at least 6! If you want certain symbols, stories or characters in the design, let me know.

Many of my customers also mark areas on the pictures that they like or don't like - be as precise as possible! It's all about you being really satisfied in the end. Honest feedback is the key to that.

I will work with you on the design until it is perfect for you. I would never pressure someone into a tattoo that they are not 100% happy with. However, since you are part of the design process, we rarely have to make major changes.

Can I Bring My Own Design?

Feel free to bring your own ideas or drawings! I love taking on new challenges and incorporating your creativity into the process. Most people send me their designs before the appointment, and we work together to integrate them perfectly into the tattoo. If you have a clear idea of how you want to cover specific areas of your body or details that are important to you, feel free to show me a sketch.

However, I don’t tattoo designs that come from other studios. Some people have designs created by artists who aren’t tattooists or live far away and want to have these tattooed here. Unfortunately, I don’t offer this service.

Let’s collaborate creatively and bring your perfect tattoo to life!

On the day of the appointment

Please eat a proper breakfast before coming to your appointment. We usually take a lunch break, but whether you can last longer during the tattooing process often depends on whether you have had a good breakfast.

Feel free to take breaks to eat or bring snacks with you, but nothing beats a good foundation in the morning!

What should I wear?

Comfort is key! It's best to wear clothes that you can sit in for long periods of time, such as loose pants and a loose-fitting shirt. Natural materials (cotton, wool, etc.) are often more comfortable because they are more breathable and help your body regulate its temperature - which can make it easier for you to feel pain.

If you get a tattoo on your arm, a sleeveless shirt is ideal; if you get a tattoo on your leg, loose shorts that you can pull up are recommended.

Feel free to bring a change of clothes and maybe something long-sleeved to protect your skin. Sun damage is the enemy of every fresh tattoo! And it's best to wear dark colors or something that you don't mind if a little color rubs off.

What should I bring?

  1. Blanket or towel : Since the tattoo bed is covered with plastic, it can get uncomfortable after a while. You can cover yourself with your own blanket or towel to make it more comfortable.

  2. Snacks and drinks: Be sure to bring them! There are plenty of shops nearby where you can stock up, but it's best to bring something you like to eat. Sweets and drinks with sugar will help you cope with the stress and pain. We also have snacks and drinks in the studio, including coffee, soft drinks and water, which you can have at any time.

  3. Lunch: You are welcome to bring your lunch and eat it in the studio. We also recommend taking a short walk during your lunch break - this helps with circulation and relieves pain. If you don't bring anything with you, there is a fast food restaurant and a supermarket with a bakery within walking distance.

Can I bring someone with me?

As much as I appreciate family members, friends and especially pets, I ask that you come to the appointment alone. Your companion is welcome to drop in at the beginning or during your lunch break, but during the tattooing it is important to have a quiet and sterile work environment so that everything runs cleanly and smoothly.

During the Session

We’ll likely chat a bit, especially while working on the design of your tattoo. However, during the actual tattooing, I recommend finding something that helps you stay distracted. Some people like to read, watch videos, or listen to their own music or podcasts to help manage the discomfort.

Feel free to bring a book, tablet, or headphones. This is your appointment, and making sure you’re comfortable is my top priority. If you’d rather not bring your own entertainment, the studio has a TV, some interesting books, and music playing… I mostly have metal, rock, and folk on, so I’m sure we’ll find something that works! 😄

aftercare for your tattoo

On the first day of your appointment, I’ll provide you with a care cream for your new tattoo. I’ll explain exactly when and how to apply it.

Sometimes, I’ll wrap the tattoo at the end of the session, and other times, I’ll simply leave the skin to breathe. I might recommend that you shower immediately after the appointment, or advise you to wait until the next day, making sure the tattoo only touches clean fabrics. Please always pay attention to my guidance—this often depends on how your skin responds to the tattooing or what’s planned for the following day.

Every skin and every tattoo is unique. If you already have personal aftercare methods that have worked well for you, feel free to discuss them with me so we can find the best care for your tattoo together.

Important Tips for Healing

Touch your fresh tattoo as little as possible! Before applying the care cream, wash your hands for at least 30 seconds with unscented, antibacterial soap.

During healing, the tattoo may itch or appear blotchy. This is normal and will subside after about two weeks, once a new layer of skin has formed over the ink.

However tempting it may be, do not scratch, as this could pull the ink out of the skin. Allow the skin to naturally flake off to avoid disturbing the healing process.

If scabs or peeling skin develop, avoid picking at them. Should you notice heavy scabbing, redness, oozing wounds, or blisters, please consult a doctor immediately.

Care and Protection

The cream I’ve provided will help relieve itching and tightness. Apply it three times daily in a thin layer. Be careful not to overapply—the skin should remain supple but not "smothered."

Remember: Just like with a scrape or sunburn, you don’t want the skin to stay too moist or wet. It should remain flexible but also receive enough air to heal properly.

Washing and Showering

Wash your tattoo regularly with lukewarm water to remove dead skin or old cream. Be gentle with it—avoid scrubbing, washcloths, or sponges.

When showering, let the water gently flow over the tattoo, but avoid direct spray and hot water.

After showering, let the tattoo air-dry if possible.

If you need to use a towel, gently dab the tattoo without rubbing, and make sure to use a clean, fresh towel.

Things to Avoid

For 14 days: No baths or soaking of the tattoo, avoid scented soaps, and refrain from sports, as sweat and skin stretching are not beneficial to your fresh tattoo.

For a month: No swimming in pools, lakes, rivers, or the sea. Water can carry bacteria that could harm your tattoo, and chemicals in pools can affect the ink.

Wear soft, loose clothing during the healing process to avoid friction on the tattoo.

Keep your fresh tattoo away from the sun. UV rays can cause the ink to fade or heal unevenly. After four weeks, you can apply sunscreen when going out in the sun.

Kosten

How Much Does It Cost?

The costs depend on how long we need for your tattoo. Larger and more complex tattoos take more time and sometimes require several sessions. Of course, I will always inform you openly about my hourly rate and give you a rough estimate of the total costs in advance.

How are the costs calculated?

  • Design and tattoo time: Both are charged at my hourly rate, as the design is often created in parallel with the tattooing.

  • Fairness for you: If you need breaks, there are unexpected changes in plans or your skin does not absorb the ink well, we can flexibly adjust the session without you having to pay for unnecessary time.

  • No daily rates: I prefer to charge an hourly rate so you don't have to pay for breaks, interruptions or early completion. However, a daily session usually lasts 6 hours.

How do you pay?

You can pay in cash or via PayPal (also in installments via PayPal). Please note that fees apply for PayPal transactions.

Payment is due before leaving the studio. If we work on your tattoo over several days, you pay at the end of each day.
